Water Parks Spring up in India’s Capital

The increase in number of amusement parks in India has redefined the concept of entrepreneurship. That it is the art of tapping a potential demand or creating one and thereby translate an enterprising concept into a reality. Such a view point could be derived from the fact that several water parks that have come up over the last couple of years. In and around Delhi water parks numbering around 20 exist as the most favoured destination for an exciting relaxed holiday or to just chill out on a weekend.

The prime attractions in these water parks are assorted water slides, splash in swimming pools, hosting a poolside party, events like simulated rain dances, rowing in a canal, thrilling and sensational water sports, entertainment and cultural programmes etc. On an evening of musical night, a visitor with a fancy for melodies of Bollywood can ask the crooner to sing an enchanting song to regale under the downpour of artificial rains!

Lagee kaisee yeh agan…’

These spots of water sports are ideal venues for private birthday bashes besides similar occasions of anniversaries and events like engagement ceremonies or other formal gatherings amid pristine ambience. This in turn could leave cherished impact in the minds of both the hosts and the guests.

Some of these water parks have varied packages to gel with the budget of the visitors. While the ones for the schools are tailor-made since safety aspects are involved, the rest of the institutional and corporate plans have ample provisions for innovative themes, depending on the occasion.

Ask a gourmet and he would vouch for a water park in the Millennium City of India. The food court in Gurgaon is a Paradise for the likes of him, he asserts. For the tiny tots, teeny boppers and teenaged children, every water park boasts of an exclusive item like Hara Kiri slide, multilane slides and surfing among others.

Some of these water parks have reciprocal arrangements with elite clubs and resorts across the country. Members of these clubs can avail the facilities of these water parks and make their visit to the NCR (national capital region encompassing Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Sonepat, Noida and Ghaziabad) a memorable one.
